Car drivers should have more sense!

Dear MSL,...I have been buying your magazine for about five years now and look forward to it each month.
I just wanted to say that instead of the Government trying to make bikers wear fluorescent jackets, would the money be better spent teaching cars drivers how to behave in fog?
I travelled from Ramsey to Huntingdon in thick fog on Saturday, November 19.
I was in my car and counted 31 cars with either sidelights on or no lights at all! The distance was about 22 miles for the round trip.
Surely drivers should have more sense.
