Oil give you a handy tip
By: Web Editor
Dear MSL... Thanks for the best read in motorcycling, certainly the most mature.
I recently changed my lovely BMW Boxer complete with ABS and power brakes for Gladys, a new red Gladius 650. Gladys is lighter and easier for an old git to manage (I swear that Beemer put on weight!) and now with the optional high seat she’s reasonably comfortable too. She certainly has enough power for me and is easy to ride.
But today I noticed a problem, as as there is only a sidestand how do you check the oil level? Answer: get one of those mirrors on a stick, or use an old bike mirror, sit upon your bike to hold it upright and using the mirror you can see the level perfectly. Gladys is currently sharing my garage with my youngest daughters 916! Scary or what?
