A great option for TT fans is the Metzeler Village. Based in the unique setting of the National Sports Centre on the outside of Quarterbridge, Douglas (for the fifth consecutive year), the Village is effectively ‘glamping’ for bikers! It’s also the venue for the ever-entertaining Metzeler Riders Night, the Village proving popular with visitors from the UK and beyond for its location, simplicity and great facilities. Prices are held from 2016, starting from just £22 per night/person.
Different tent options allow for one to four people, and include excellent washing/shower facilities, 24 hour secure bike parking, free Wi-Fi and a chill-out zone with satellite TV. Sofas and hammocks let fans relax, while breakfast is free for Metzeler tyre-shod visitors (discounted for others), along with other benefits such as the use of a swimming pool and Spa centre. An inflatable bed and lantern are available free of charge to all guests.
The Metzeler Village will be open from June 1 to 10, and can be booked at www.metzelervillage.com.
Two readers can also win a four night break, courtesy of Metzeler, including tent accommodation, sleeping bags, airbeds, pillow and breakfast. You just need to get yourself there, and cover your other meals. Competition closes May 4.
