There's a new live element in store for visitors heading to the world’s largest classic bike show next month with TV personality Pete Thorne, a regular on ITV’s The Motorbike Show with Henry Cole, set to deliver five daily sessions of essential restoration advice.

Graham Noyce, one of Britain's most popular off-road sporting figures, has made his first appearance on stage at the Putoline Classic Dirt Bike Show and, for the first time in more than 20 years, has been reunited with the factory Honda on which he claimed 1979 world Motocross glory.

Last week a video of a Japanese man dressed up like the Christopher Nolan Batman riding on his own personal Batpod went viral. Now BBC has tracked down the Batman of Japan who refers to himself of Chibatman (after his home city of Chiba) and interviewed him. Chibatman conducted the interview in full costume and refused to reveal his true identity, but did give his reasoning for why he was dressing up like Batman. He wanted to make the people of his country smile after the 2011 tsunami, and has been continually riding around his home city of Chiba ever since.
