One of motorcycling’s great sporting rivalries will be relived this October when the Classic Motorcycle Mechanics Show, sponsored by Carole Nash, returns bigger and better than ever, and you could be there to chat to the stars of the show.

The event at the Stafford County Showground on October 10-11 is one of the UK’s biggest celebrations of classic motorcycling.
As always, you’ll find the nation’s largest gathering of classic machines, clubs and traders, alongside crowd favourites such as the fire-up demonstrations, trials displays and the legendary Wall of Death.

But the star guests at the show will be picking over a great rivalry. For some, 1996 was a year dominated by Britpop, chants of ‘It’s coming home’, Gazza’s dentist’s chair and football… it was also the year of Dolly the cloned sheep.
But it was also the very first BSB championship, and the two men who took it down to the wire and that memorable last race at Donington will be on stage over the weekend, as Jamie Whitham and Niall Mackenzie reunite and are joined by a selection of championship-winning machines from the last three decades.

But as always, there is so much more. The Main Arena schedule is packed with action, featuring freestyle stunt jumpers, modern classic cavalcades, rider interviews and much more. New for 2026, visitors can get hands-on with the Trials Day Experience, giving you the chance to test your skills and discover the thrill of trials riding.
Also making their debut are the Practical Workshop Area, where industry experts will be on hand with advice, demonstrations and guidance, and Custom Corner, brought to you by Back Street Heroes, showcasing an incredible selection of custom-built motorcycles.
With so much to see and do, from iconic machines and famous faces to live action and interactive experiences, there’s never been a better time to visit the UK’s biggest classic motorcycle show.
