Suzuki has officially unveiled two exciting new additions to its GSX-8 platform – the GSX-8T and GSX-8TT – combining retro-inspired design with cutting-edge performance. Based on the acclaimed 776cc parallel twin engine, these models channel the spirit of Suzuki’s 1960s and 70s heritage, while delivering next-generation technology for today’s riders.
Retro Looks, Modern Engineering
The GSX-8T draws design inspiration from icons like the Suzuki T500, blending classic styling with modern functionality. In contrast, the GSX-8TT takes things a step further, echoing the legendary Yoshimura GS1000 AMA superbikes with its distinctive front cowling and race-ready silhouette.
At their core, both bikes feature the 776cc parallel twin engine, complete with a 270° crankshaft for a torquey, character-rich delivery. Expect 82.9PS at 8,500rpm and 78Nm at 6,800rpm, delivering that familiar twin-cylinder punch through the rev range.

The heart of each bike is a twin-spar steel frame paired with an aluminium swingarm and KYB suspension—gold forks on the 8T, black on the 8TT. Radially-mounted Nissin calipers bite onto dual 310mm discs for confident stopping power, while wide, tapered aluminium handlebars offer comfort and control.
A new 16.5-litre fuel tank, redesigned seat unit, and bar-end mirrors bring both ergonomics and style to the table. The 8T features a circular LED headlight with brushed radiator shrouds, while the 8TT adds a faired cowling reminiscent of 1970s race bikes, a lower belly pan, and colour-matched wheels and decals for a more aggressive, track-inspired look.
