The Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup machines will be based on the brand’s Grand American Touring platform but heavily modified for speed, agility, and sheer spectacle. The result: a visceral new kind of racing that’s unlike anything currently on the MotoGP™ calendar.

The series will kick off in the United States before heading to iconic European venues such as Mugello, Assen, and Silverstone, culminating in a championship-deciding round back at the Red Bull Ring in Austria.

“The launch of the Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup signals a bold new era for Harley-Davidson and for the sport of motorcycle racing. This series is about pushing limits – of our machines, our riders, and our brand – on a global stage.”

Carlos Ezpeleta, Chief Sporting Officer, Dorna Sports:

“The Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup will be a fantastic addition to race weekends for fans onsite, while connecting our sport to one of the most iconic lifestyle and cultural brands in North America – and the world.”

Jeffrey Schuessler, Global Director, Marketing & Partnerships, Racing Programs, Harley-Davidson:

“We’ve seen what’s possible with King of the Baggers in the U.S., and now we’re bringing that same energy, performance, and attitude to the world stage. This is more than just racing – it’s a global statement of who we are and where we’re going.”

From Teaser to Full-Throttle Reality

The Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup was first hinted at during this year’s Grand Prix of France at Le Mans, where the two brands shared their vision for a global bagger series. The reaction from fans, media, and the industry was immediate and overwhelmingly positive.

With the full calendar now set, prospective teams, riders, and sponsors are being invited to join the grid ahead of the 2026 debut season.
