Honda’s new ‘Riding Assist’ motorcycle shuns the gyroscopes used by other brands, which the Japanese company says add a great deal of weight and alter the riding experience. Instead, robotics technology from the ‘UNI-CUB’ self-balancing personal mobility device keeps the machine upright by rotating the bars and adjusting the rake to balance the centre of gravity.
This concept motorcycle can stand upright on its own, and with a rider, as well as pilot itself, although the video does only show it moving at walking pace.
