“You also donโt need to do every qualifying and race session, but every one you can do really does help.ย Youโll gain a new set of skills for free as well as join a community that often turn into lifelong friends.โย
TT Marshals will also be able to attend the Marshals Supper held in the Mercury Club on Sunday 4th June and meet some of the TTโs most legendary riders.

SIGNING-ON
ย
Anyone interested in Marshalling at this yearโs TT is able to sign on for sessions via the TTMA website. Once registered, there are two online training modules to complete for first-timers. The modules are quick and easy to complete and can now be accessed on a mobile device.
ย
Those that have already marshalled at the 2022 Isle of Man TT Races or the 2022 Manx Grand Prix do not need to complete the training again and can simply sign on for the days they are available.
ย
New for this year and following a successful trial at the Manx Grand Prix, the TTMA will formally introduce a new sector โ00โ for marshals to sign-on to for TT 2023. Marshals that sign-on to this sector are able to be deployed within any sector of the course giving the opportunity to experience the true uniqueness of the 37.73 mile Mountain Course in all its glory as well as playing an integral role in minimising delays to the start of sessions.
ย
ADDITIONAL TRAINING
ย
In addition to the two online training modules, the TTMA also offers an Incident Management Course (IMC) for marshals that have undergone a minimum of three sessions on the TT course. The day-longย course is purpose built to provide TT marshals with the chance to gain more in-depth knowledge on the use of equipment as well as the handling procedures for breakdowns and incidents.
ย
The new IMC course was rolled out to locations across the UK as well as the Isle of Man for the first time ahead of last yearโs event and this year the TTMA have introduced an additional UK training venue in Hawick, the original home of road racing legends Steve Hislop and Jimmy Guthrie.
ย
Marshals are able to secure their place on an IMC Course through the new online booking service available via their account on the TTMA website. Dates and further training information is available here.
